My 7-year-old daughter loves Minecraft like a lot of kids her age. I ordered this little torch light as a gift for her. It's a pretty cool little light. It came in well-packed and undamaged. The box is nicely themed, and it looks good enough to hand over for a gift. The light stick itself looks like it came straight from the game. It lights up several different colors with the touch of a button and has an option to cycle through the colors as well.
I really like that it uses USB-C charge, and I don't have to waste batteries. I also like that it isn't wired because I hate wires. Also, a clever little idea they had was to make a little swivel mount so you can set it on a desk, walk around with it, or easily mount it to a wall without having to detach or add on anything.
I ordered this for my Minecraft loving kids, and they have all loved this torch. It really does look like a Minecraft toy, and my kids recognized it as such immediately. We didn't get it with the intent of hanging it on the wall, but to use it more of as a nightlight/flashlight, and it's been great for that. It has no removable batteries, you just recharge it with a USB-C cable, which is easy enough for the kids to do on their own.
Cycling the colors is easy and a feature that the kids like. The size is pretty big, which I like, but it's not so big that kids have trouble using or holding it. Quality also seems pretty good, and I'm not worried about this breaking easily or breaking soon. The plastic seems sufficiently solid.
